General Personal Injury Case

Negligence law is a legal concept that holds individuals and entities liable for injury caused due to carelessness, recklessness or negligent conduct or lack of conduct. It is based on tort law and provides victims with monetary compensation for their losses. To establish a case in negligence, the plaintiff must prove that the defendant had a duty of care, breached the duty, and that their breach of duty was the direct cause of the injury or loss suffered. If successfully established the defendant may be required to pay for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering as well as other damages because of the negligence.
